Iskcon started preaching activities in 2000 at Marathi Bhajanai Mutt in Thuraiyur town of Trichy district. Then continued in many Bhajanai mutts. In 2012 preaching continued at Zamindar School Complex. Sri Krishna Jayanthi, Radha Ashtami, Sri Chaitanya Maha Prabhu Appearance Day festivals were celebrated with huge number of supporters from Thuraiyur Public. In 2016 Iskcon center was shifted to Hare Krishna Land on Kollapatti Road Mathura Puri and same programs are held every year with huge support of Thousands of devotees and local People.
In 2021 August 23 on Sri Balaram appearance day the New Temple Construction was started. The Temple Construction is supported by Thuraiyur Local people and many congregations all over the world. As we all know that Sri Sri Krishna Balaram are very very fond of Cows. Iskcon Thuraiyur started its Goshala in 2018 with one Desi Cow. Now in our Goshala we have Many Many Cows for the Pleasure of Sri Sri Krishna Balaram.

The Goshala at Thuraiyur Iskcon was started in 2018. Beginning with only 1 cow & bull, the number today has increased to 10 and is expected to reach 50 in next few years.
One of the unique features at the Thuraiyur Iskcon Goshala is the personal attention and care given, with separate special zones allocated for Bulls, Cows, Calves and milking Cows. Pregnant Cows are offered special diet and care to ensure proper health of the Cow and the calf.
Old cows and bulls are given special care. at Thuraiyur Iskcon are treated as one of the family members and all due care is given to them. The health status of each and every cow is noted on a daily basis and is logged for long term monitoring.
To ensure proper medical care a veterinary doctor visits the Goshala regularly and is locally available in case of all emergency situations. Primary treatments are done with homeopathy and herbal medicines.
